Slopestyle in Sochi means more Shaun White in 2014

In total, Monday saw six new events added to the Olympic program for the Sochi Games in 2014. Of all those events, it's snowboarding's version of slopestyle that's immediately the most compelling. And yes, it has a lot to do with the potential participation in the event of one Shaun White.

Slopestyle in World Cup should be a big deal

Snowboarding discipline makes second World Cup appearance this weekend in Calgary

The decision to add some sports to the Winter Olympic docket for 2014 in Sochi is expected to come in the next couple months. In the running are snowboard slopestyle, ski slopestyle, ski halfpipe, a biathlon mixed team relay, a figure skating team event, a luge team event, and women's ski jumping.
