Think about it -- when you visited Great Britain, did your car have an actual printed sign mounted on the dashboard telling you which side of the road to use? Of course not, because if you're like us, you were extremely cognizant to remind yourself to stay on your side no matter what. Quite simply, aside from getting stuck in an endless loop looking at Big Ben and Parliament, the last thing any of us wants to do is end up in the embarrassing (and usually dangerous) wrong lane.
But the sign pictured in the photo above tells us a different story. It tells of an equestrian team that came to Kentucky and recklessly veered onto the wrong side of the cart path enough times (even if only once) to necessitate not only the printing of a sign, but the printing of a sign with four exclamation points.
For the record, there was an actual driving competition (featuring horses, not cars) at the World Equestrian Games. Great Britain, however, did not have an entry in the field.
We can only assume that the whole golf cart thing got them disqualified.
