ST. MORITZ, Switzerland (AP) - Anja Schneiderheinze won a women's bobsled World Cup event Friday, ending German teammate Cathleen Martini's winning streak at three races.
Schneiderheinze and brake partner Lisette Thoene had a combined two-run time of 2 minutes, 17.84 seconds to edge Martini and Janine Tischer by 0.09 seconds.
Sandra Kiriasis and Franziska Bertels completed a German sweep of the podium in third, trailing Schneiderheinze by 0.21.
Schneiderheinze's second victory this season earned 225 World Cup points and narrowed Martini's overall lead to 59.
Kiriasis is third overall, 115 points behind Martini with two events to go.
Jazmine Fenlator of the United States placed eighth for her best World Cup result this season.
